About
Katie Galbreath

Katie Galbreath completed a year and a half of her post-secondary education at The University of Georgia and is now a senior BFA Theatre Arts student at The University of North Georgia and a member of the Gainesville Theatre Alliance. She has been involved in performance and technical theatre for over 10 years. Some of her favorite shows she’s worked on are Sideshow (Violet), Sense and Sensibility (Mrs. Dashwood & Assistant Director), and Child's Play (Director). After graduation, she plans to pursue a career as a professional actress, director, and stage manager.
Katie is the youngest of six children and an aunt to 12 nieces and nephews. Katie's favorite activity outside of the theatrical arts is hanging out with her friends—most of whom she has met in productions. She loves appreciating good television and cinema, with some of her favorite shows being How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Recreation, Veronica Mars, and Charmed. She also has a special passion for ecology and nature, loving activities like hiking, kayaking, and camping. Katie revisits her passion for art every now and then, whether it be through charcoal portraits, hand-painted tote bags, fun crafts, or little doodles.
