Katie Galbreath
Hi! My name is Katie Galbreath. I am a director, stage manager, actress, and technician. In a few short months, I will be receiving a BFA in Theatre Arts from The University of North Georgia. I am currently a member of the Gainesville Theatre Alliance* and president of our chapter of the theatre honor society, Alpha Psi Omega. I have been involved in performance and technical theatre for over 10 years. Some of my favorite shows I've worked on are Child's Play (Director), A Monster Calls (AD/Choreo Captain/Dialect Coach), and Sister Act (Mother Superior).
I am the youngest of six children and an aunt to 13 nieces and nephews. My favorite activity outside of the theatrical arts is hanging out with friends. I love appreciating good television and cinema, and some of my favorite shows are How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Recreation, Veronica Mars, and Charmed. I also have a special passion for ecology and nature. I enjoy activities like hiking, kayaking, and camping. I revisit my passion for art every now and then through graphic design, charcoal portraits, hand-painted tote bags, fun crafts, and little doodles.
